WHAT: A full-day workshop in which you will learn basic skills using Final Cut Pro software. The workshop will cover the digitization process, keyboard and system commands, and sequence editing. It will also offer file management techniques to maximize your work efficiency.
WHO: Concentric Media's Editor, Xuan Vu. She is a graduate of Boston University with a Master’s degree in Documentary Filmmaking. Currently she is a producing and editing a documentary film about the disenfranchisement of Native Americans with Concentric Media. Xuan was a principal editor on the film, STEALING AMERICA: Vote by Vote. This will be her first time teaching this workshop.
FOR WHOM: Beginning editors and non-professionals.
NOTE: Due to limited workspace and equipment, we can only accommodate up to six students. Applicants who have their own Mac laptops (with a Firewire port) and FCP software will be given first priority.
